I recently made an appearance at the 11th annual Canon Customer Appreciation Reception. Canon’s customers and dealers enjoyed exciting musical entertainment, a live and silent auction and fine cuisine on Friday, January 8th at the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas. Some of the other celebrities in attendance were Alice Cooper, Cheech Marin and Kevin Sorbo.
The event is a benefit for the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC). To date, over $356,000 has been raised and all proceeds go directly to NCMEC in support of their cause.
NCMEC works tirelessly to fight child abduction and to safely reunite missing children with their families. Since its establishment in 1984 as a private non-profit organization, NCMEC has played a role in the recovery of more than 138,500 children, assisted with more than 158,100 missing child cases, processed more than 675,250 reports on its CyberTipline, and handled more than 2.3 million telephone calls through its toll-free Hotline (1-800-THE-LOST). I was excited to help my corporate partner in an effort to support such an important cause!
